The following steps show us how to buy property in Bali: 

Step 1 ...... choose your property and send to Riverside Bali your acquiring

Step 2 ...... negotiate price on your chosen property with Riverside Bali

Step 3 ...... pay a deposit to Riverside Bali about 10% of total price

Step 4 ...... sign a letter of intent with Riverside Bali agreeing price and payment schedule 

Step 5 ...... final payment at Notary 

Step 6 ...... get the revised certificate 


Note :


Ownership of land in Bali is divided into 2 categories:
a. Pipil
land which owned by local people but has not registered yet to BPN (Badan Pertanahan Nasional) or National Land Committee 

b. Certificate
 
land which has already been registered with BPN (Badan Pertanahan Nasional) or National Land Committee



- Only land which has a certificate can be sold

- Needs 6 months to convert pipil into CERTIFICATE normally

- All property purchases in Bali must be witnessed by Notary
